I was listening to some teaching recently and the question was asked, "What are you doing to add value to those you are in contact with?"

That is an interesting question to think about.  I started thinking about my life and what I am doing or not doing that brings value to others.  There are days when I am not feeling as positive or hopeful as I do on other days and on those days I tend to 'take' more than I 'give'.  On days when I am feeling good I often give more than I take.  There is an ebb and flow in life.  There will be times and seasons when we have more to give and times when we need others to give to us.  I thought about how I want to change the dynamics of the ebb and flow in my life.

I want to add value to someone else even on a day when I am feeling less motivated.  If you are in a place where you need someone to add value to you then receive graciously as it is given.  When you can, you will then be able to in turn invest value in someone else.  It is a bit like "Pay It Forward".

So whether you are investing value in someone else or are being invested in, remember, this is the only day you have.  You have this moment.  Learn all you can, stay in the moment, love with purpose, live well!
